This is an absolutely stunning mid 50s Selmer Super Balanced Action Alto Sax. The condition of this instrument shows how well taken care of it has been for the last 70 years. We had this checked out by a great saxophone tech who said that most of the pads are original, which will mean it needs a full mechanical overhaul and new pads. Since this instrument is likely going to a professional we wanted to leave this undone and then the new owner can have their favorite tech work on it. The Selmer historian let the tech know that this left Paris in November of 1953. Included is the original case that is in great condition with some seams coming unsewn, but both zippers working, a Selmer Soloist D Mouthpiece and a hangtag from this era.
